Its a cotton reel, it does what it says on the tin and holds the stack exhausts on my trike :)

This item was to replace an exhaust hanger which was sheared off on a Channel Shuttle trip when the car grounded on a faulty connection between carriages.  It has fitted well and as to its performance, only time (or the Shuttle!) will tell.
