This gauge is inexpensive and does the job. It is intended for low pressure systems only - not fuel injection. There is a very good reason why pressure gauges are not left in place. They are intended for measurement purpose only. Should they fail and leak due to age, vibration, knocks etc then petrol is going to land somewhere and that may turn out to be a very hot surface. Always be safe rather than sorry.
