The answer to IVA compliance for Girling style master cylinders.

Nylon screw-on cap fits 1.75" dia. x 8 T.P.I. pitch buttress thread.

Internal float with level switch.

For dual circuit systems use two, wired in parallel.

For IVA you’ll require warning light on dash and a remote means of testing it.

This can be the handbrake switch or just a small push button switch next to the light.

The cap fits on a thread of approx 44mm and the depth of the sensor bowl is 50mm

NOTE: The float and switch assembly can be easily separated from the threaded ring.

With a little ingenuity it can be bonded into your own non-IVA cap. We recommend using a two-part epoxy adhesive.

Use this to have brake level dash light connection. Has the advantage that the cap connector rotates so when cap is fully closed you can have the leads coming away in the exact direction you require. Just a little touch but worth it

Great for converting reservoir for switch

I used two of these to add a warning light to my brake system (bias box). They work fine. I used the ‘alternative method’ described in the catalogue to allow the wiring to spin independently of the cap.

I'm converting an Elise from a single master cylinder to a triple master cylinder system, these caps fit perfectly and I used 3 of them wired across to ensure the low fluid warning light was extinguished 👍

Great bit of kit at an extremely reasonable price.
