This is a must have purchase for anyone crimping large diameter cables. Unless you do a lot of this work professionally the professional tools are way too expensive and sometimes due to the need to do the work in situ it is not always possible to have cables made up remotely. I have used this tool for for campervan leisure battery and inverter cables. I have even used it for 75sq mm 10kw inverter cables for an off-grid solar/battery/inverter system. Just make sure that it is placed on a hard surface before used
