We all know the frustration of stripping a thread, especially in soft aluminium, so when I found this kit I thought I would give the thread inserts a try as I had read about them a lot but never tried them first hand. They work well and are very sturdy once the repair is complete. My only advice is that you must use a bench/standing drill to get the hole 100% perpendicular/concentric to the original.
